The area around Beetsterzwaag offers plenty to do: walking and cycling routes through the woods, boat trips on the Frisian waterways, horse riding, a visit to Leeuwarden or Groningen, the Woudagemaal steam pumping station in Lemmer (UNESCO World Heritage Site), Museum Belvédère and the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. On request, we also organise activities such as sailing a traditional skûtsje, sheep herding, cooking workshops, wine tastings and Solex tours.

In bad weather, the estate offers plenty of ways to enjoy yourself indoors: the indoor swimming pool, the sauna, a wellness treatment, an extensive afternoon tea, a glass of wine by the open fire in the lounge, lunch or dinner at Bistro Nijeholt or dinner at restaurant De Heeren van Harinxma. In the area, you will find museums such as Museum Belvédère in Heerenveen, the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden and the Woudagemaal in Lemmer.

Yes, you can park free of charge in our own car park on the estate. There is no need to reserve a parking space. The estate also has two charging stations, suitable for charging four electric or hybrid cars at the same time. They are intended for hotel and restaurant guests.
