Our estate is a dream destination for anyone who loves walking or cycling. Literally in our backyard lies a wonderful forest that lends itself to beautiful walks, mountain bike tours or a ride on the gravel bike. Landgoed Lauswolt is also the ideal starting point for beautiful cycling tours in the area and the nearby Drents-Friese forest.

After a lovely walk or bike ride, it is of course wonderful to come home with a delicious glass of wine, a refreshing drink or hot chocolate in our lounge.

Discover Friesland by bike

Most people know Friesland from the lakes and sailing. But Friesland is also a paradise for cyclists. With the many cycle paths you can discover how wooded Friesland is in the direct vicinity of Landgoed Lauswolt. And that is a beautiful environment for a cycle tour!

And do you like cycling? Real mileage eaters do a round along part of the Eleven Cities or around the Sneekermeer in just 3 hours. And did you know that it is possible to visit Friesland, Drenthe, Flevoland and Overijssel with a bike ride of about 100 kilometers?

Of course, a mountain bike tour through the forests of Beetsterzwaag is an obvious choice. You don't have to bring your own bike. For a small fee, we have a number of very luxurious mountain bikes and e-bikes available for our guests.
